We have been members of the Bakersfield community since 1984. Thank you for the support you have given us over the the years. Your continued support has made it possible for us to open a new place of worship in East Bakersfield. There's still work to do. Help us to complete our remodel, add new programs, and be of good service to our community.
We welcome all to our mosque, a place of worship and community where everyone is treated with love and respect. Friday prayer is held at 1:00pm.
Millati Islami is a recovery program designed for Muslims, based on the principles of the traditional 12-step model. It provides a supportive environment for individuals seeking to overcome addiction while staying connected to their faith.
The Al-Muttaqin Residential Program will provide supportive and transitional housing for men who are reentering society after incarceration, including those on parole or probation. (COMING SOON)
For the past six years, our space has served as a place of prayer, learning, and connection. We have completed the interior remodel and now, we have the opportunity to transform it into something more permanent. This will build a foundation that will support our community not just today, but for generations to come.
We are raising $675,800 to purchase our current location and establish a lasting home for worship, education, and residential reentry housing.

A permanent home means stability. It means growth. It means legacy.
With your support, this space will allow us to:
This is more than a building—it’s an investment in the future of our community.
Inspired by the legacy of Imam Yusuf Islam, and under the leadership of Imam Al-Ameen Shabazz, we are committed to building a center grounded in:
Together, we are shaping a future that reflects our values and uplifts our community.
This is your opportunity to be part of a legacy that will continue to give long after we are gone.
Every donation—no matter the size—brings us one step closer to securing this home.
Give your Sadaqah.
Invest in your community.
Help us build our future.
